Hi, I'm Ishan Kumar Gond
I'm currently in 10th grade, juggling physics homework and business calls, and honestly? I wouldn't have it any other way.
This blog is my honest, unfiltered journal of building businesses, learning skills, and making mistakes—all while trying to pass my board exams.
How It All Started
Two years ago, I asked myself a simple question: "What if I actually tried?"
That curiosity led me down a path most teenagers never take. I didn't have a trust fund, special connections, or some genius idea. I just had internet access, time after school, and a willingness to figure things out.
At 14, I built my first blog. Spent months learning WordPress, writing content, and understanding SEO. Eventually got it approved for Google AdSense and sold it for ₹12,000. That wasn't just money—it was proof that I could create something people valued.
At 15, I jumped into dropshipping. Completed 70+ orders, learned Meta ads and Shopify, understood Indian customer behavior... and then faced harsh losses from RTOs (Return to Origin). The business failed, but I walked away with skills worth more than any course.
Then I found my thing: Graphic Designing.
I spent 300+ hours mastering the craft—studying viral thumbnails, learning color theory, understanding what makes people click. That obsession landed me a role at Physics Wallah at 15. Today, millions of students across India see my designs.
At 15, I founded IKG Web Creations on October 19th, 2025— a venture.
What This Blog Is Really About
Let me be honest: I'm not starting this blog to make money or sell you a course.
I'm documenting my journey because I wish someone had done this for me. When I started at 14, I searched everywhere for real stories from young entrepreneurs in India. All I found were:
- Paid courses promising overnight millions
- Highlight reels with zero substance
- Generic advice that didn't apply to teenagers balancing school and business
So I'm creating what I wish I had: a brutally honest journal of what it's really like.
Here, you'll find:
✓ Real business lessons I'm learning while building IKG Web Creations
✓ Design tips and marketing strategies that actually work
✓ Honest stories about failures (because I fail more than I win)
✓ How I balance school, work, and entrepreneurship without losing my mind
✓ Resources and tools I actually use, not affiliate spam
No sugarcoating. No overnight success stories. Just the messy, confusing, exciting reality of a teenager trying to build something meaningful.
What I Believe
Through all the wins and losses, here's what I've learned:
Age doesn't define capability. When I'm designing thumbnails or building websites, nobody asks how old I am. They care about results. Build real skills, and everything else becomes noise.
Failure is just expensive education. My dropshipping losses hurt, but they taught me more than any classroom ever could. Every failure is feedback if you're willing to learn.
You don't need permission to start. Nobody gave me permission to launch a blog, start a business, or apply to Physics Wallah. I just did it. Stop waiting for the "right time"—it never comes.
Start before you're ready. I wasn't ready for anything I've done. I learned by doing. Perfectionism is just fear wearing a mask.
Why I'm Sharing All This
Because your journey matters.
Maybe you're a student wondering if you can build something while studying. Maybe you're stuck in analysis paralysis, waiting for the perfect moment. Maybe you just want to see what's possible when someone your age actually tries.
Whatever brought you here—welcome.
This isn't a success story (yet). It's a real-time documentary of someone figuring it out as they go. Some weeks I'll share wins. Other weeks, I'll share failures. All of it is real.
I'll be updating this blog weekly with new lessons, experiments, and honest experiences.
Years from now, I want to look back and see how far I've come. And if my story helps even one person take that first step? That's worth more than any business success.
Let's Build Together
I'm not here to preach or pretend I have it all figured out. I'm 16, still making mistakes, still learning.
But I am here to share what I'm learning, connect with people on similar paths, and build something worth documenting.
If you're:
- A student wanting to build something
- An aspiring entrepreneur, figuring things out
- Someone who believes age is just a number
- Just curious what a teenage founder is actually doing
Then you're in the right place.
Subscribe to get weekly updates on my journey. No spam, no sales pitches—just honest stories and lessons from the trenches.
Let's prove that you don't need to wait until you're "ready" to start building something meaningful.
The best time to start was yesterday. The second best time is right now.
Want to connect?
Thanks for being here. Let's grow together.
